- Sign up to attend an Open House. Sequoyah High School’s Open House will include a tour of the campus and a chance to interact with the faculty and staff to discuss the new high school program. They will be held on November 14, 2015 and January 10, 2016 1-4 p.m., 301 North Orange Grove Boulevard, Pasadena CA 91103
- Create an online admissions account. Your account will allow you to complete and submit your application, access all required forms, and receive reminders of your scheduled visit day and interview.
- Start and complete an application to Sequoyah High School. The application deadline for Sequoyah High School is February 5, 2016.
- Register to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). To arrange a test date, please contact the Educational Records Bureau. ISEE scores must be received by Sequoyah no later than February 5, 2016. Sequoyah’s registration code is 570888.
- After submitting your application, the school will schedule a student visit day. During the visit, applicants will spend time in small groups simulating classroom experiences led by Sequoyah High School teachers. Parents are welcome to come and speak casually with Admissions representatives.
- In addition to student visit days, the school will contact you to schedule an individual student interview. Parents will have the opportunity to join the interview to ask questions or to provide insight about the applicant.
- Submit requests for teacher recommendations and school transcripts. Request forms can be found on the admissions portal. Please submit one teacher recommendation form to your math teacher and one to your English or history teacher and a transcript release form to your school administrator. These supplemental forms must be sent to us directly from your school by February 5, 2016.
