Posts: 705Registered UserMember 04-11-2007 at 10:17 am I also HIGHLY recommend Warriners and also Rules for Writers. Many people recommend Elements of Style by Strunk and White, but I would rather stick to Warriners. If you want to take a look at Elements of Style, there is a free internet version that you can find through Google. Like Helpful ReplyShare on Facebook

One may have something the other doesn't, and it's not a good idea to take a chance. Although, EoS is probably the most thorough grammar and style book I've seen, and it is not a lengthy read, either. Like Helpful ReplyShare on Facebook

I also found his high school handbook. Which version are you referring to? Like Helpful ReplyShare on Facebook

It's short, sweet, and concise. Like Helpful ReplyShare on Facebook

I agree that there are a lot of idiom cases, but a guide would still be helpful. Like Helpful ReplyShare on Facebook

It's worth looking over in my opinion. Like Helpful ReplyShare on Facebook
