Posts: 24Registered UserNew Member 06-06-2005 at 3:02 pm edited May 2009 in SAT and ACT Tests & Test Preparation When I do the SAT long critical reading passages, I just go right into the questions and look for answers using line references that are given. But for the ACT, I cannot do it since there are no line references except a very few. So, basically, do I have to read(skim) passages first and then do questions? And also, are there any tactics that I can use for the ACT reading section? Post edited by ary on May 2009

SAT follows a very formulaic CR pattern - answer is almost always stated or given in a subtle manner. ACT is intuitive - not necessarily logic but more intuition. If you intuition is good, and you read a lot, you'll have more success on the ACT. ReplyShare on Facebook
