in ACT Preparation

I am determined to get a 36 on the ACT. I will study all of summer to get it. Can I ask those full markers, what books you used so I can prep with them. I have so far got this ACT Master the ACT Assessment book and also some old practice tests. So yes, please tell me the necessary books, so that I can purchase them and begin studying. I have done a levels in physics, maths, further maths and chemistry. However my English is weaker and so will need to prepare accordingly. Regards. ReplyShare on Facebook «

Use Barron's to review/study - even though it's harder from the normal ACT, it'll prepare you for anything on the real deal. I just did a math practice test with no prep as in no prep for the math section of the ACT. And I got 52/60 equating to a 30. Is that good or bad? Math is my strongest point too. I was unaware that there is no penalty for guessing, to much sat2! I can't believe the curve is so high, it was the geometry and those data 3 part questions that I got wrong. I can do second order differential equations, de moivres theorem, contingency tables, confidence intervals etc. so that maybe skews my maths score! I was projected at a 28 from my lousy PSAT. I earned a 30. This was incredibly disappointing to me at the time, so I bought the Princeton Review's "Cracking the ACT 2015" book. I used it religiously (like 1-1.5hrs/day) for the week leading up to the June 13th ACT. That book bumped me from a 30 to a 34. Barron's may well be a better guide, I do not know, but I'd vouch for mine.
