All applications are welcomed; assured admission is just one way to become a Jayhawk, and our individual review takes more into account. We encourage all students interested in the University of Kansas to complete an application, which will be reviewed individually by KU’s admissions staff. The priority application date is Feb. 1. The deadline for scholarships is Nov. 1.
One way to guarantee a spot at KU is by meeting our assured admission criteria:
- 21+ ACT (980+ SAT) and 3.25+ GPA or 24+ ACT (1090+ SAT) and 3.0+ GPA
- 2.0+ GPA (2.5+ for out-of-state students) in a college-prep curriculum
- If applicable, achieve a 2.0 GPA or higher on any college credit taken in high school

Students 21 years of age and older do not need to submit standardized test scores as part of their application.
