If you scored a 1340 (math, reading, writing 2400 scale) on the SAT, these are the New York colleges you have a chance to get into.

We've analyzed the admitted 2014 freshman class SAT scores for all New York colleges and found 15 colleges where a 1340 places you within or slightly above the middle fifty percent of admitted students. These colleges are ranked by their position on the CollegeSimply best colleges ranking. This list is intended as a guide to where you may best fit in with academic peers based on your SAT score and a recommendation of colleges which have historically accepted a 1340. You will need to also demonstrate a high school GPA commensurate with your peers at this scoring level if you hope to be granted admission.

Is a 1340 on the SAT a good score? You can probably do better. A 1340 places you approximately in the 34th percentile nationally for all students who took the SAT test.

For comparison purposes, a 1340 on the SAT is roughly analogous to a 18 on the ACT.
